Anthony David Gonzalez is a ex- American football tightener, who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is considered to be one of the top American tight ends of all time and is the holder of an NFL record for most receiving yards of all tight ends. He is third all-time in the number of receiving yards.

Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End currently works as an FOX Sport Studio analyst. Gonzalez, who has been with FOX NFL KICKOFF for the last year, hosts host of the program. The show airs on Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET before FOX NFL Sunday.
Gonzalez has signed a contract extension for Atlanta Falcons with a two-year term and $14 million on the 15th of March 2013. The signing was in spite of the fact that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire following the football season of 2013. Randy Moss retired in 2013 as did Gonzalez, who was 37 when he left, was able to finish the final year of his professional career in the position of being the NFL leader for receiving yards.
